6 Appliances Your Kitchen Is Incomplete Without

Most people will agree  that the kitchen is the most crucial room in any home. It's the family hub, it's where everyone is drawn to by the scents of delicious foods wafting through the air.

Now, what makes the kitchen complete? Well, it has to be the extra appliances it sports. Your appliances determine your potential in the kitchen; they determine what recipes and foods you can make and how much time and effort you need to put into making them.

Therefore, in today's post, we’re going to cover the six essential kitchen appliances that your kitchen is incomplete without.

Ready? Here we go...

Hand putting pod into red coffee maker

High-Quality Coffee Maker

Coffee is essential, and it's tough to make in a hurry or when half asleep without a coffee maker. Moreover, I’m sure you can relate, I can’t start my day until I get that first hit of caffeine into my system (you know what I'm talking about).

Therefore, for me and many others, I believe, a high-quality coffee maker is a must-have product in the kitchen. You can also get a coffee bean grinder so that you can have freshly ground coffee each and every morning.

Toast jumping out of toaster

A Toaster

The most important, yet most challenging meal to make is breakfast, especially if you have kids and you have to get to your job as well. Such mornings can be very chaotic, you need to make breakfast for the kids, and you also need to pack lunches for them.

A toaster oven can be convenient on such busy mornings. It can help you prepare breakfast easily without any extra effort, and you can also multitask while the bread is toasting. Also, a toaster oven is considerably safer to use, and your school-going kids can even make breakfast for themselves in a pinch.

Pink stand mixer mixing ingredients

Stand Mixer

A stand mixer is a great kitchen appliance that can do a lot of difficult jobs with relative ease; however, no one can appreciate it more than a baker. I love to bake cookies, bread, cakes, and pies, and a stand mixer is like my best friend.

Have you ever tried to cream butter, or make an egg meringue with a whisk? It's almost impossible, even if you have a hand mixer, the job can be difficult. A stand mixer makes these tasks significantly more comfortable.

It comes exceptionally handy when I am baking bread, as it can knead the bread dough as long as required, and I don't have to tire my arms or get my hands sticky. Moreover, I don't have to use any dry flour to prevent sticking, which yields a perfect loaf of bread.

Hence, you can't call your kitchen complete without a stand mixer.

Arm putting food into the microwave oven

Microwave Oven

A microwave oven is another essential element of any kitchen. If you don't have one, you need to use pots and pans to warm up your food, which causes more dishes to get dirty and is more challenging to do. Moreover, with a microwave, anyone can heat their food in a significantly safer way, whereas you can't allow your children to use the stove.

These days microwave ovens can be used for a lot more than just reheating food; you can also make several recipes in it.

Furthermore, after reheating leftovers, the most useful feature of microwaves is defrosting. Typically, you have to wait overnight to get frozen food to room temperature, but a microwave can do the same job in a couple of minutes, which saves a lot of time.

Food mixing up in a food processor

Food Processor

What would you do without a food processor; this is a fantastic appliance that allows you to expand your culinary skills and make complicated and demanding recipes in a short time. You can use a food processor to chop vegetables, create purees, make smoothies and juices, grind meat, make peanut butter, and do a lot more.

Therefore, it's a modern kitchen appliance that I can't even imagine not having in my kitchen, and without it, any kitchen is incomplete.

Hands with pink gloves taking dishes out of dsihwasher

A Dishwasher

The maintenance of a kitchen is quite a hefty job, and the right appliances can make the job significantly more comfortable. Personally, one of the things that I hate the most is washing dishes. Every time you make a delicious and amazing meal, you put a lot of effort into it, and after everyone is done eating when you are the most tired, you realize that you still have to wash the dishes.

This can be very annoying and frustrating, but not if you have the right quality dishwasher in your kitchen. There are many types of dishwashers available at a wide range of prices. They can save you a lot of effort, and they waste less water as well.

Here are some common types of dishwashers:

  • Integrated/under bench dishwashers: These full-size dishwashers are perfect for large households, and they are incorporated under your counter-top along with your cabinets.
  • Drawer dishwashers: As the name states, these dishwashers are like a drawer, and they are perfect for smaller kitchens. It;s more convenient, but the capacity usually is not as much as under bench variants.
  • Countertop dishwashers: This is the ideal product for people who don't want to mess with the design of their kitchen. Instead of adding it to a drawer or a cabinet, you can place the appliance on the counter top. They are a great option if you want to look at cheap dishwashers.
